Best news all week!! Prop 8 overturned!

After a frustrating week of fighting with the Marriott Hotel and Marina about an overcharge of $796.58, this news made me squeal with joy.

Now, it will go to the Supremes and perhaps the US will join much of the rest of the 1st world nations.

History in the making, people. Real history. I’m glad this is happening in my lifetime.

Outer Alliance Pride Day

September 1 was the very first Pride Day for a new group, the Outer Alliance.

Mission statement: As a member of the Outer Alliance, I advocate for queer speculative fiction and those who create, publish and support it, whatever their sexual orientation and gender identity. I make sure this is reflected in my actions and my work.

I just applied to join and hope all you folks that read me go to their blog and read the blog posts. Writers, I urge you to join (it’s open to published and non-published writers).

Some really great short fiction, excerpts, posts, etc. at the above link. Go read, and help support queer speculative fiction.
