It’s that time of year again: Banned Books Week.

Banned

BBW celebrates the freedom to choose or the freedom to express one’s opinion even if that opinion might be considered unorthodox or unpopular and stresses the importance of ensuring the availability of those unorthodox or unpopular viewpoints to all who wish to read them. Just for the record: the Tango book is a based-on-fact egg-raised-by-gay-penguin-parents story. It could only be more perfect if it was about gay vulture parents, but then I can’t get everything I want.

And don’t forget to check ‘em out from your local library, if buying isn’t in your current economic scenario… (sez the bookseller…)
