How utterly cool. I think everyone should have that to look forward to for their birthday. Think of all the age angst it would alleviate. *g*

You don’t know me, but I’m a friend of and was with her on Sunday when she got the autograph. I have to tell you, she was very determined, but feared she had missed her chance having been confronted with a long line on Saturday when she first went to the Walk of Fame and then another line on Sunday when I was with her. To make matters worse, on Sunday, Gareth wasn’t even at his table and people were waiting for him. We decided to walk around, gawk at the guests, and take some photos. After about a half hour or so of wandering I suggested we check out his table again. As we approached we noticed Gareth was back. was getting out her camera to attempt to take a photo of him through the crowd when I noticed that the crowd was actually the line for James Marsters who was sitting next to Gareth. There was, in fact, no one in line for Gareth. At that point I believe I said, “Run, , Run!” And she hustled to his table to get his autograph. :)

On a personal note, both times I caught site of Gareth and he caught sight of me he had the same, ‘Can I go home now’ expression on his face. DC on top of Comic Con may have been a bit overwhelming for the poor boy. I know cons in the UK tend to be small.

      Hee, thanks for the story.

Poor Gareth – 2 ginormous cons in a row are tough on anyone, much less someone not used to these kinds of crowds.
