Last night was obligation dinner at a co-worker’s. Food was quite good and we watched SciFi Friday (SG1 and SGA only) on their lovely plasma TV.

Slept in this a.m. and am goofing off. Still fatigued, but started taking iron supplements. We’ll see how that works.

The rest of the weekend will be resting and playing and resting.

Colonoscopy went well. I’m all healthy and now have a photograph of my colon…which I really didn’t need.

Just got home – a bit woozy (shades of college days!) – going to eat soup and crawl into bed. Very very good drugs – I remember nothing of the actual procedure.

Spent the morning halfway normally, reading e-mail, talking to mom, looking forward to dinner with the gang.

About noon-thirty, migraine hit. I’ve spent the last 4 hours napping in hopes of ridding myself of it. No joy.

Just called S to cancel my attendance at dinner.

I spent my first 46 years healthy as the proverbial horse, despite the fact society would name me diseased because of my weight.

In the last year, I’ve been plagued with fatigue, migraines, hot flashes, digestive disorders, emotional yo-yos, insomnia, and more. Sometimes, I truly hate being female.

Back to bed now.
