I have just finished going through the final page proofs for Chesapeake Crimes II.

My brain is ded.

My eyes itch.

That is all.

I was updating my Word file of lamardeuse‘s lovely WIPs (Bell Book and Mountie and Outcome). MS Word insists that “shitfaced” should be “shiitake”. I don’t think so.

I spent today napping. Didn’t mean to nap for nearly 5 hours, but my body had other plans. Total PMS and lack of energy. I’m supposed to be packing for Mayhem in the Midlands. I leave on Thursday morning. Oh well.

Sith was…hmm, well, George Lucas. Why on earth he feels he has to write dialogue, I’ll never know. I cringed through much of the movie. However, I did like the dark side of Anakin. I never expected for the script to go where it did in showing his fall.

Just finished reading some wonderful books: Dead Beat by Jim Butcher, Bloodlines by Jan Burke and Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris. This is probably the top 3 authors I read immediately. I buy a ton of stuff as it comes out, but some things have to get relegated to the “read later” pile.

I got a lovely call from my mom on Saturday. She’d just read my book and wanted more. In fact, the best compliment: she said that as she was reading, she forgot I’d written it!

Now, for book 2…I *will* get it written.

…several of us at my office are going to see Revenge of the Sith tomorrow morning at 11:00.

According to various reviews, I hear the movie rocks. I hope this is true, having suffered through Episodes I and II. (kill Jar-Jar, kill him ded)

In any case, today was extremely busy at work, tonight, I hope to get some writing done and to watch last night’s House ep and tonight’s Lost ep.
